To promote the film, scheduled for release this week, Priyan and Akki are working overtime while Trisha is away shooting for 'Manmadhan Ambu', a Kamal Haasan film, in Europe.
Priyadarshan had reportedly made detailed programmes for the promotion of the film as nowadays, promotions factor in the success of films very much. Trisha, who makes her debut in Bollywood with this film, should have been in Mumbai to promote the film, feels an insider with the
'Khatta Meetta' unit.
Priyan, known for his frank interviews told a daily: "...She should have been here now and attending promotional activities in North Indian cities prior to release along with Akshay Kumar. I strongly believe in Bollywood’s marketing strategy promote or perish.”
Trisha should have taken a cue from Asin, who went out of her way to promote her 'Ghajini'. She was well promoted by her hero Aamir also. The question Bollywoodwallahs say is this: If Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai can spare dates to promote their new releases, Trisha sure can!
