If Bollywood stars attend the fest, their films could be boycotted in south India.
From the very beginning, south Indian film associations were against the selection of Colombo as the venue of the IIFA awards (the International Indian Film Awards), to be held later this week. Now, the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) has come up with the decision that they will boycott Bollywood films, if any of their stars or technicians attend the Colombo fest.
