Prithviraj to endorse ambulance service!


Prithviraj, the young superstar in Mollywood, would be the brand ambassador of '108 Ambulance Service', launched by the National Rural Health Mission in Thiruvananthapuram as a pilot project.
The hi-tech ambulance service has already become the centre of attention as it comes to the rescue of accident victims and takes them to the nearest hospitals in a jiffy.

Priyanka Chopra is UNICEF ambassador


Former Miss World and one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood Priyanka Chopra will be made the national ambassador of UNICEF.
Her responsibility is to help with the promotion of child and adolescent rights. An agreement to this effect will be signed between Priyanka and the UNICEF in New Delhi on August 10, say reports.

Sonam wants to play Anarkali to Abhi's Salim!


Sonam Kapoor says she would like to play the role of Anarkali in 'Mughal-e-Azam', the classic film directed by K Asif.
She would like to see Abhishek Bachchan in the role of Salim and Amitabh as emperor Akbar. Sonam said Abhi would look grand in the role of the prince. Sonam was paired up with Abhishek in 'Delhi 6' earlier

'Endhiran' music tops iTunes!


The music of 'Endhiran, the Robot', composed by AR Rahman, are topping the charts of iTunes, within two days of its launch.
This is the first time that an Indian album tops the charts in the portal, which accounts for the majority of music legally downloaded from the internet.

Prithviraj lands Anwar Rasheed film!

He will be starring in the lead in young director Anwar Rasheed's next, in which he will be playing an army officer.

Raju is now busy with B Unnikrishnan's 'Thriller', an investigative thriller in which he plays a police officer. He will soon be doing Santosh Sivan's 'Urumi' and the remake of Mohanlal hot 'Naduvazhikal', to be directed by Shaji Kailas.

Anwar Rasheed shot to fame with his debut film 'Raja Manikyam'. The film, in which Mammootty played a comic hero, became a trendsetter. His next film 'Chotta Mumbai ' was with Mohanlal and it was another big hit. His last offering 'Annan Thambi' starred Mammootty in a double role and that also was a blockbuster.

‘Sholay’ inspires Salman dialogue in ‘Dabangg’!


In 'Dabangg', hero Salman Khan will be seen delivering a dialogue inspired by blockbuster 'Sholay'.
In the film, a dialogue in the iconic Sippy film has been tweaked to suit the mood and theme of the film.

In 'Sholay', comedian Asrani utters this dialogue: “Aadhe idhar jao, aadhe udhar jao, baaki mere peeche aao”. And the police officer played by Salman says this in 'Dabangg': "Mote wale is taraf, patle vale us araf, aur jo fit hain wo mere peeche." But when the officer looks back, there is no one behind him and quips, "Kya ho gaya hai police force ko?"
