He will be starring in the lead in young director Anwar Rasheed's next, in which he will be playing an army officer.Raju is now busy with B Unnikrishnan's 'Thriller', an investigative thriller in which he plays a police officer. He will soon be doing Santosh Sivan's 'Urumi' and the remake of Mohanlal hot 'Naduvazhikal', to be directed by Shaji Kailas.
Anwar Rasheed shot to fame with his debut film 'Raja Manikyam'. The film, in which Mammootty played a comic hero, became a trendsetter. His next film 'Chotta Mumbai ' was with Mohanlal and it was another big hit. His last offering 'Annan Thambi' starred Mammootty in a double role and that also was a blockbuster.
