Vijay will be different in 'Kavalkaran': Siddique

Vijay will be seen in a very different avatar in 'Kavalkaran', said its director Siddique.
The film will have Vijay at his romantic best; remember his roles in 'Kadhalukku Mariyadhai', 'Kushi' and 'Friends'. He will be doing some uproarious comedy scenes also.

Siddique, who is remaking his Malayalam hit 'Body Guard' into Tamil as 'Kavalkaaran', says there will be no introduction song for the hero, as we are used to in Kollywood superstar films. It is a love story with a difference.

‘Singam’ trailers hits cyberspace!

The trailers of 'Singam', an action film starring Suriya and Anushka Shetty in the lead, have become a rage on internet.
In the big budget action film, Suriya plays a daredevil cop.

Hari, who has made a blockbuster of a cop movie in 'Saamy', is all set to repeat the success, it seems. The promos show Suriya mouthing powerful dialogues and shouting in macho costumes. A song, praising the hero, can be heard in the background.

Lakshmi Rai out, Sneha in Mohanlal's 'Shikar'

Kollywood hottie Sneha will be playing the role of Mohanlal's onscreen wife in 'Shikar', being directed by M Padmakumar.
Lakshmi Rai was supposed to do the role, but she could not adjust her dates for the same and had to pull out.

Sneha, who debuted in films with 'Pranayamanithooval' in Malayalam, has recently played the female lead in 'Pramaani', a Mammootty film. She will join the sets of 'Shikar' at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad in the first week of June.

Prithviraj-minus-20kg in Blessy's 'Aadujeevitham'

Prithviraj, fast rising in Mollywood as a bankable superstar (His latest release, Mammootty starrer 'Pokkiri Raja' is a case in point), wastes no time in securing a role with substance and would go to any extent to make it successful.
He will be reducing his weight by about 20 kilos for 'Aadujeevitham', a film by noted writer-director Blessy. He will be undergoing a strict diet regimen once he completes 'Anwar', a film by Amal Neerad. The shooting for the film will begin in August at the deserts in Dubai and Rajasthan, it is reported.
