He will be playing the hero in this film by MA Nishad, known for his critically acclaimed ‘Vairam’.Nishad himself pens the screenplay of ‘Best of Luck’ and Vinu Kiriyath writes the dialogues. ‘Rithu’ fame Asif Ali, Reema Kallingal, ‘Neelathamara’ fame Kailas and Archana Kavi are among the cast.

In 'Raavan', Aishwarya was heroic: Vikram

During the shooting of 'Raavan' in the thick jungles in Kerala, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was as brave as a hero in overcoming stiff challenges, both physical and mental, said Vikram.
He said to a news agency, "Aishwarya suffered all the wounds, pain, fever and insect bites heroically in the forests. For all the dangerous scenes she hardly ever used a duplicate. She was totally up to the task." In his own case, though he had to undertake several risks while shooting for his films, no film ever demanded so much from him, said Vikram.Read Full story....

Reloaded Gallery: Vikram, Ash in 'Raavanan'

The most awaited film for two years, Mani Ratnam's trilingual in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu is gearing up for a release next month. 'Raavan' is believed to be a modern day interpretation of epic 'Ramayan'.
Its Hindi version stars Aishwarya as Ragini, a role modelled on Sita and Vikram as a cop Dev, her husband. Abhishek plays the role of Beera, a dacoit. In the Tamil and Telugu versions, Vikram plays the title role.Watch Full Gallery....

Mammootty's 'Kottayam Kunjachan' sequel on cards

TS Suresh Babu, who returns to active filmmaking with 'Kanyakumari', plans to make a sequel to his 'Kottayam Kunjachan', a Mammootty superhit. Mammootty played an illiterate goon who wanted to mend his ways and sets up a driving school in the film, released in 1990. His peculiar mannerisms and witty dialogues had the viewers in splits. The cast of the film included Ranjini, Usha, KPAC Lalitha, Sukumaran, Innocent, Jagathy Sreekumar and Kunchan.
